The final of the “5th Shanghai University Students New Material Innovation and Creative Competition”, hosted by the Shanghai Municipal Education Commission, hosted by the Shanghai University of Technology, and supported by the Shanghai Graphene Industry Technology Functional Platform, was held at the University of Shanghai for Science and Technology.Since the launch of the contest on March 1st, it has lasted more than 6 months and received more than 200 entries. In the end, 150 works from 13 colleges and universities were finalists. After fierce competition,Finally, 15 first prizes, 29 second prizes and 44 third prizes were selected. The students in our groupbroke through the difficulties. After on-site demonstration, project presentation and defense, they finally won one first prize, two second prizes and two third prizes. The competition is the only innovation competition for students majoring in material science in Shanghai. It is one of the largest, most comprehensive and influential material competitions in Shanghai. It aims to discover innovative entrepreneurial talents and discover outstanding creative projects. Create an atmosphere of innovation and entrepreneurship for college students, and lead more college students to participate in innovative training and entrepreneurial practice. With the theme of “focusing on new materials, bringing in new ideas and leading new developments”, this competition encourages the application of graphene materials and additive manufacturing in various fields to explore the works. The participating students make full use of the professional learning, and explore various practical problems faced by the society and enterprises. While solving the problems, they have launched innovative scientific achievements with certain practical application value and improved their competitiveness. The success of the competition has also greatly promoted the cultivation of materials professionals and the construction of new materials.
