Prof. Ding has been engaged in the multifunctionalities of micro/nanofibrous materials and obtained a series of progress in the forming theory, structural design, and technical application of micro/nanofibrous materials. He edited a Chinese book “Electrospinning and Nanofibers” (China Textile & Apparel Press, China, 2011), two English books “Electrospun Nanofibers for Energy and Environmental Applications” (Springer Publishing, Germany, 2014) and “Electrospinning: Nanofabrication and Applications” (Amsterdam, Elsevier Publishing, 2018), co-edited 14 volumes of English books (Nova in New York, USA; Woodhead Technology Press in Cambridge, UK), has authored and co-authored 446 peer-reviewed journal papers published on journals such as Nat. Commun., Sci. Adv., Adv. Mater., Angew. Chem. Int. Ed., etc., and 14 published Chinese academic papers. His entire publications have been cited over 28000 times, including over 22000 times by others, with H-index of 91, and 17 papers highly cited by ESI. He held over 163 approved patents and converted 16 of them. He has led over 60 projects from National Sci-Tech Support Plan of China, National Natural Science Foundation of China (NSFC), Basic Key Project of Shanghai Committee of Science and Technology, Germany BOSCH, Unilever, etc. The honors he has received are over 50, including Textile Academic Award, First Prize of Shanghai Science and Technology (Invention) Award, First Prize for Advancement in Science and Technology of China National Textile and Apparel Council, Distinguished Young Scholars from the National Natural Science and Technology Foundation of China, Distinguished Professor of the “Changjiang Scholars Program” of the Ministry of Education, Leading Talents in Science and Technology Innovation of the National “Ten Thousand Talents Program”, Distinguished Achievement Award of The Fiber Society (USA), etc. |
