ShiChao Zhang

Personal Resume



Currently he is a Professor at the Innovation Center for Textile Science and Technology, Donghua University. He has presided over projects of the National Natural Science Foundation of China, the Science and Technology Commission of Shanghai Municipality, the US PRMRP Discovery Award, Shanghai C&G, etc. The honors he has received include the Shanghai Overseas High-Level Talent Recruitment Program, the second prize of the Natural Science Award from the Ministry of Education, the 16th Chen Weiji Excellent Paper Award from the Chinese Textile Engineering Society, etc. He is now the youth editorial board member of the journal of Engineering and also serves as a reviewer for academic journals including Nat. Commun., ACS Nano, Adv. Funct. Mater., etc.

Major Research Achievements

His main research interests include the controllable fabrication and application of electrospun micro/nanofiber materials. He has published more than 50 SCI papers (including 43 first/corresponding author papers) in some high-quality journals including Nat. Commun.Adv. Mater.ACS NanoAdv. Funct. Mater.Nano Lett., etc. His published papers have been cited more than 2200 times, with an H-index of 24. He was also a co-editor of 4 chapters in 2 English books and a Chinese book, and held over 19 approved patents and converted 1 of them.
