Xianfeng Wang


Personal Resume

He is currently the Vice Dean in the College of Textile at Donghua University, a Full Professor in non-woven materials and engineering and a doctoral supervisor. He received the title of National “Ten Thousand People Plan” Young Top Talent, Shanghai Excellent Academic Leader, Shanghai Distinguished Professor and Shanghai Rising-Star Program. He served on the young editorial board member of journals such as Engineering, Energy & Environmental Materials, Journal of Textile Research and Basic Sciences Journal of Textile Universities. The honors he received include the first prize for progress in science and technology of China National Textile and Apparel Council and the first prize for progress in science and technology of Shanghai.

Major Research Achievements

       His main research interests are the design and preparation of functional textile and clothing fabrics, as well as the processing and molding of non-woven materials. He authored and co-authored over 60 peer-reviewed journal papers published in Nat. Commun., ACS Nano, Adv. Funct. Mater., etc. These published papers have been cited more than 3500 times, with H-index of 37 and ESI highly cited papers of 5. He undertook more than 20 projects, including 2 National Key Research and Development Projects, 3 National Natural Science Foundation Projects, Shanghai Natural Science Foundation Projects, and enterprise technology development projects. He was invited to edit 1 English book and participated in editing 3 Chinese/English books, and authorized invention patents of 15.
