His main research interests are the design and preparation of functional textile and clothing fabrics, as well as the processing and molding of non-woven materials. He authored and co-authored over 60 peer-reviewed journal papers published in Nat. Commun., ACS Nano, Adv. Funct. Mater., etc. These published papers have been cited more than 3500 times, with H-index of 37 and ESI highly cited papers of 5. He undertook more than 20 projects, including 2 National Key Research and Development Projects, 3 National Natural Science Foundation Projects, Shanghai Natural Science Foundation Projects, and enterprise technology development projects.
