Prof. Yi-Tao Liu received his B.S. degree (2003) from Harbin Institute of Technology, and M.S. (2006) and Ph.D. (2012) degrees from Tsinghua University. Then, he did postdoctoral research at the Department of Chemical Engineering and Department of Precision Instruments, Tsinghua University from 2012 to 2017. After working at the College of Materials Science and Engineering, Beijing University of Chemical Technology, he is now a professor and PhD director at the Innovation Center for Textile Science and Technology, Donghua University. His research interest focuses on functional ceramic nanofibrous materials and their environmental and energy applications. His academic awards include Shanghai Outstanding Academic Research Leader, Outstanding Postdoctoral Fellow of Tsinghua University, Beijing Outstanding Graduate of Higher Education, Outstanding Doctoral Dissertation Award of Tsinghua University, etc.

He has published more than 80 peer-reviewed papers in SCI-indexed journals such as Nat. Commun., Adv. Mater., Angew. Chem. Int. Ed., Adv. Funct. Mater., ACS Nano, ACS Energy Lett., Appl. Catal.
