The Second Conference on Biomedical Polymer Materials was held in Xiamen from March 31 to April 2, 2023. The conference was jointly organized by the Biomedical Polymer Materials Branch of the Chinese Society for Biomaterials and Xiamen University.

The Biomedical Polymer Materials Branch of the Chinese Society for Biomaterials is a secondary branch under the Chinese Society for Biomaterials, which aims to unite scientific research and technical personnel across the country, promote innovative research, technological development, and transformation and application of biomedical polymer materials. This conference will conduct extensive exchanges in the production, study, research, and application of biomedical polymer materials. Many well-known scholars in the field will attend the conference to discuss the latest developments and trends in biomedical polymer materials.

Professor You Zhengwei and his classmates participated in this conference. Professor You Zhengwei was invited to give a presentation entitled “Biomedical elastomers for cardiovascular tissue repair”. The participating students listened carefully to the wonderful reports of experts and actively participated in post-conference exchanges and discussions, which not only broadened their academic horizons but also inspired them in their respective research work.
