The dusty plasma laboratory is located at Rm.253, College Building 2, Songjiang Campus of Donghua University. It is equipped with various experiment apparatus including GEC-CP system, PK-4C, THZ-QCL, and various plasma sources and diagnostic devices.

GEC-CP:

GEC-CP is a capacitively coupled rf discharge chamber, which aims to study the structure and dynamics of 2D and q2D complex plasmas. It is equipped with various diagnostic devices including Phantom fast camera, manipulation laser, etc.

PK-4C:

PK-4C is a tube-like dc discharge chamber, which is exactly the same as the chamber in the PK-4 laboratory currently on board the International Space Station. This chamber aims to study the fluid phenomena of complex plasmas.

THz-QCL:

The THz-QCL generates THz wave at a frequency of 4.3 THz. This device aims to study the interaction between EM waves and complex plasmas.
